Opportunity Overview:
As a Senior Software Tech Lead at AI Collaborator, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of backend developers responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire backend development process, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring that the team delivers robust and reliable backend services that support the company’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of performant applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and make strategic decisions regarding technology stack and architecture
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices on backend and related technologies and apply them to enhance our products
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources and plan project timelines
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, specially with Django, with at least 1 years in a leadership role
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Ability to learn new skills and handle diverse challenges
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- Frontend experience (Javascript, HTML, CSS, React)
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies
- Experience designing and implementing typical B2B SaaS features (such as authentication, dashboards, permissions, etc.)
- Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search and NoSQL
- Experience with DevOps (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with testing and debugging techniques
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
